Welcome to Studio Merkmann.
Studio Merkman was created/established in 1990, specialising in kitchen designs, built in cupboards and all wood related projects. We have decades of experience in the field from basic carpentry to designing and creating kitchen spaces for some of the best establishments not just in South Africa but all over africa and in Europe.
We are specialists in our trade. We use the best materials and only partner with resource companies that have a high european standard so that we bring the best quality to our clients. Everything we create gets treated wityh artful care and precision. Our roots come from Germany, our founder Bernd Merkmann. We bring the ‘German way’ into our workmanship. If it is anything other than perfect…then its is not acceptible, we do not make something happen, we create something the right way with the right tools, with the right techniques, with the right materials. That is the German way, not short cuts, do it right the first time. We bring this standard and approach to each and everyone of our clients because we believe that perfection is possible.
Our desire is to create a unique, modern, minimalistic and exquisite living and working spaces. We have the passion to turn ordinary into the fantastic.
We have a small talented team that dedicates their time on perfection and have the need to create beautiful pieces of work.
